Peanut Butter Frosting

A light, whipped frosting for your favorite cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 t. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 T. dairy milk
  • garnish mini chocolate bar pieces, shaved chocolate, etc

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, cream together the peanut butter and the butter.

  2. Add in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, mix well to combine.

  3. Add 2 T. milk to reach spreading consistency, adding more if needed.

Recipe Notes

This is a wonderful frosting for devil's food cupcakes...also good on just a plain vanilla cupcake.  I like to add small pieces of chocolate bars to mine, but you could add mini Reese's pieces or Reese's peanut butter cups....Enjoy!
