Crockpot Ribs

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork ribs, trimmed
  • 2 t. salt, divided
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 T. steak sauce
  • 1 t. coarse ground pepper
  • 1 t. minced garlic
  • 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut ribs apart and sprinkle 1 t. salt over ribs; set aside.

  2. Stir remaining salt and all other ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Pour half of the sauce into bottom of large, oval Crockpot.

  4. Place ribs in Crockpot; then pour remaining sauce evenly over ribs.

  5. Place lid on Crockpot and cook on HIGH 6-7 hours.
