Ingredients

  • 6-8 small Granny Smith Apples
  • 14 oz jar Hershey's Caramel topping
  • 2 t. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 t. ground nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Spray CrockPot with cooking spray.

  2. Peel and dice apples. Finely dice for a dip or dice in large chunks for a dessert topping (as shown in picture).

  3. Add apples to the CrockPot; then sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg and salt over top.

  4. Evenly pour caramel topping over apples; then gently stir.

  5. Place lid on CrockPot and cook on HIGH setting for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

  6. If you would like to thicken the sauce, combine 1 T. cornstarch with 1 T. cold water to make a slurry. Stir into CrockPot the last 30 minutes of cooking.
