Crockpot BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4-6 boneless chicken breasts, trimmed
  • 1 bottle sweet BBQ sauce
  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 1 t. onion powder
  • 1 t. black pepper
  • 1/2 t. red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Trim chicken breasts of excess fat

  2. Place chicken and remaining ingredients into Crockpot.

  3. Place lid on Crockpot and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours, or until chicken is done.

  4. Turn to Crockpot to WARM and shred the chicken by pulling apart with two forks; serve from the Crockpot to keep warm.

Recipe Notes

The leftovers freeze well.  This is a great recipe to prepare while home on the weekends, then serve on a busy weeknight!  Enjoy!
