An easy cobbler for Summer's sweet fruit!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Place sliced peaches into a greased 8-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture over peaches and toss gently.
In a separate bowl, stir together sugar, flour and the egg to make a crumb topping for the cobbler.
Evenly sprinkle the crumb topping over the peaches, do not stir.
Pour the melted stick of butter over the crumb topping, do not stir.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until crumb topping is browned and cobbler is bubbly. Be careful not to burn the topping...cover with foil to finish baking, if necessary.
An easy dessert to prepare and take to gatherings!
Caution: place a baking sheet on rack below your cobbler to catch juices that may overflow!
