Buffalo Dip for the Crockpot

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
  • 2 cups Blue Cheese salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, mild
  • dippers: corn chips, celery sticks, crackers, etc.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into Crockpot and stir well to combine.

  2. If mixture appears too thick, add 1/2 cup or so of warm water.

  3. Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until cheese is completely melted and ingredients are well blended.  Be careful not to overcook.  

  4. Taste test...more Buffalo sauce if you want a spicier dip, more salad dressing if you want a mild dip.

  5. Turn Crockpot to LOW when dip is thoroughly heated, and serve with assorted dippers.

Recipe Notes

Great Dip for parties and Fall gatherings!  To really spice it up, add a little of your favorite HOT sauce or diced jalapenos!  Enjoy!
