Today is National Potato Chip Day…and here’s a quick, simple treat for potato chip lovers!
Sweet & Salty Chips!
Ingredients
- plain potato chips, regular or wavy
- milk chocolate almond bark or candiquik
- vanilla almond bark or candiquik
- sprinkles, optional
Instructions

Cover 1-2 large baking sheets, or trays, with waxed paper.

Prepare the chocolate and vanilla melts per package instructions.

Lay chips out on prepared trays in a single layer. Drizzle with chocolate coating first, using a spoon or fork to thinly drizzle over chips. Let chips set for 3-5 minutes for coating to "set".

Then, drizzle the vanilla coating over the chips. While vanilla coating is still wet, you may add sprinkles, if desired.

Allow coatings to dry before serving or storing chips in an airtight container. Chips will keep 2-3 days…but ours never last this long!
Recipe Notes
This is a simple, quick treat for potato chips. I think the thicker “wavy” chips work best, but use your favorite, plain potato chip. Easy recipe to let the kids prepare, too. Enjoy!
