“Pantry” Challenge…
With our new “stay-at-home” lifestyle, it can get boring eating the same thing everyday…and after a while, take-out can get “old”, too. Here is a SIMPLE, quick treat using a can of crescent rolls…give these recipes a try, or let them inspire you to come up with your own version of quick, SIMPLE treats!
Sausage Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 1 1 lb roll of sausage, cooked and crumbled
Instructions

Pop open crescent roll tube and separate rolls into two long rectangles on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet (or use a silpat sheet); pinch together seams.

Drain sausage crumbles and sprinkle down the center of each crescent rectangle.

Pull up sides of rolls and pinch together at top to form a seal.

Bake according to package instructions.
Recipe Notes
These are a quick and easy breakfast treat for on-the-go mornings; or a yummy afternoon snack. Bake up several batches and keep on hand in your refrigerator, or freezer. Try adding shredded cheese to your sausage mixture, or sprinkle on top when reheating.
Notice the two loaves in the background picture? Those are Cinnamon-Pecan rolls. Using the same instructions, just substitute chopped pecans and sprinkle down center of rectangle dough; then sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over top. Seal and bake. When cooled, top with a quick powdered sugar glaze. Enjoy!
