As we wind down our CrockTober Season, here is a great dip for you to try! I first served this dip at a Halloween party several years ago…and still get requests for it!
Buffalo Dip for the Crockpot
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
- 2 cups Blue Cheese salad dressing
- 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, mild
- dippers: corn chips, celery sticks, crackers, etc.
Instructions
-
Place all ingredients into Crockpot and stir well to combine.
-
If mixture appears too thick, add 1/2 cup or so of warm water.
-
Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until cheese is completely melted and ingredients are well blended. Be careful not to overcook.
-
Taste test...more Buffalo sauce if you want a spicier dip, more salad dressing if you want a mild dip.
-
Turn Crockpot to LOW when dip is thoroughly heated, and serve with assorted dippers.
Recipe Notes
Great Dip for parties and Fall gatherings! To really spice it up, add a little of your favorite HOT sauce or diced jalapenos! Enjoy!
