Tomorrow is National Potato Chip Day! I will have a “sweet & salty” treat for you tomorrow, but tonight, let’s enjoy these yummy bites!
Homemade Pub Chips
Ingredients
- 4-5 red potatoes
- freshly ground black pepper
- seasoned salt
- olive oil
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
-
Wash and dry potatoes, then slice into thin slices, try to keep all slices to the same thickness for even baking.
-
Dry potato slices and lay on parchment paper-lined baking sheet (or use a silpat mat).
-
Lightly drizzle olive oil over potatoes; then sprinkle with black pepper and seasoned salt.
-
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until desired doneness is reached. Keep eye on potatoes so they do not burn, as ovens vary.
Recipe Notes
My family loves this pub chip recipe as it is easier than the traditional method of frying…healthier, too! Great recipe for your cookouts, and a quick appetizer when unexpected guests drop by…Enjoy!
