Welcome to My Gardening Corner!
Today I would like to share with you a few shots of my Garden Baker’s Rack. It is a great outdoor accessory and a very useful storage center….let’s take a look!
The above shot is from the day I purchased this jewel! It was actually a display unit in a local store. The owner is retiring and I happened to snatch this unit at a wonderful price. I brought it home, lightly scuffed/sanded the shelves and sealed with linseed oil. I will most likely replace the shelves with outdoor/treated lumber in the future, but for now they are holding up beautifully.
The above shot shows my current state of use…the lower level holds lovely birch logs for future decorating props. The upper levels are home to various pots and plants waiting to be used around my deck and raised garden beds. To keep the shelves from looking too bland, I like to add in a few accessories such as outdoor lanterns with timer candles, boxwoods waiting to be shaped into topiaries and creeping sweet potato vines with ivy.
Below are a few more photos to inspire you to think outside the box when it comes to garden storage and display…
I hope you enjoyed the “tour” of my Garden Baker’s Rack and picked up some ideas to use in your favorite garden or outdoor space. I’d love to hear your ideas on outdoor gardening decor, please leave me a comment below!

I love your garden bakers rack. It is so beautiful to look at. And what a great way to repurpose it.

Thanks, Leisha! It has certainly come in handy for potting plants and storing my terra cotta pots!
