So, for yesterday’s recipe of Italian-Ranch Chicken, I had purchased a HUGE package of chicken legs…here’s where I used the remaining pieces…
Orange Chicken
Ingredients
- 6-8 Chicken legs, or your favorite pieces
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 2 T. teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 t. red pepper flakes
- 1 T. brown sugar
- 1/4 t. dry mustard
- 1/4 cup diced, sweet onion
- dash fresh ground black pepper
Instructions

Remove skin from chicken pieces and place in CrockPot; add warm water.

In a small bowl, combine marmalade, teriyaki sauce, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, and dry mustard; stir well.

Pour sauce over chicken.

Sprinkle diced onion evenly over chicken pieces.

Sprinkle dash of freshly ground black pepper over top.

Place lid on CrockPot and cook on HIGH 4 hours or LOW 6 hours, or until chicken is done.
