Day 9….and it’s RIB TIME! Today I am sharing a recipe from my little sister, Amy. This is one of her favorite Crockpot recipes to make.
Crockpot Ribs
Ingredients
- 4 lbs pork ribs, trimmed
- 2 t. salt, divided
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup apple butter
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 T. steak sauce
- 1 t. coarse ground pepper
- 1 t. minced garlic
- 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions

Cut ribs apart and sprinkle 1 t. salt over ribs; set aside.

Stir remaining salt and all other ingredients together until well combined.

Pour half of the sauce into bottom of large, oval Crockpot.

Place ribs in Crockpot; then pour remaining sauce evenly over ribs.

Place lid on Crockpot and cook on HIGH 6-7 hours.
