Merry Christmas Eve, My Friends! As we await the arrival of the little ‘ol man in the red suit, I thought I would share a few pics of our Christmas Eve Cocoa Bar. This is a SIMPLE and easy treat to set up for your family and friends. You can go basic and just set out a few decor items along with your cocoa and marshmallows. Or, if you have space on a cabinet or furniture item in your kitchen, dining room, foyer or living room…consider setting out a real spread! Here’s a few ideas with pics to follow…
- Assorted Cocoas (we are currently using Sillycow Farms™ flavored cocoas (check out my Crock-Tober series for an easy Crockpot Cocoa)
- Gather decorative tins or glass jars to display chocolate chips, crushed candy canes, peppermint sprinkles, cinnamon redhots, mint candies, etc
- Arrange flavored syrups and peppermint sticks or assorted stick candies on pedestals to add height to your display
- Various marshmallows look great in your decorative apothecary jars
- Santa or Holiday mugs take front and center on your cocoa bar, along with napkins and spoons
- Finish off your beverage station with seasonal accessories such as beads, garland, mini trees, wooden signs, tin cans, etc.
Have fun setting up your Christmas Cocoa Bar….and leave it up through the Winter, by simply swapping out Santas with Snowmen, your display will continue to welcome all for a warm, seasonal beverage!
Merry Christmas Eve to You and Yours!
